The 2021 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Pruliers 1er Cru was not really touched by the frost according to winemaker Laurent Lignier. Red berry fruit is intermixed with Earl Grey and undergrowth. The palate is well balanced with sappy red fruit, tobacco and another refreshingly saline finish. Maybe is doesn’t have the finesse of the Domaine’s top cuvees in 2021, but it is a solid showing.
