The 2021 Nuits Saint-Georges Au Bas de Combe Vieilles Vignes has an airy, well-defined nose with Morello cherries, raspberry and a faint graphite note in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with quite strict tannins that will gain pliancy after racking, moderate depth with a slight hardness on the finish that will again, soften. Fine.
