Tasting Notes
Robert Parker 92-94
“The 2016 Corton Clos du Roi Grand Cru has a more floral bouquet compared to the Corton-Pougets, crushed violets complementing the blackberry and raspberry coulis aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, crisp acidity, nicely focused with great tension from start to finish. It feels grippy and quite structured so try to afford this five or six years in bottle. It is a grand cru after all.”
