Tasting Notes
Vinous 95
The 2013 Barolo Sorì Ginestra, the estate’s flagship Barolo, hits all the classic Ginestra notes. Sweet, balsamic-inflected notes wrap around a core of intense dark blue and purplish fruit. Veins of salinity and tannin give the 2013 much of its personality. The 2013 is a bit restrained today, but it packs a serious punch. This big boy needs time to shed some of its formidable tannin, but it is impressive.

Monforte d’Alba. Rather diffuse nose and then rich and bloody on the palate. Rather right-banky tannins!
