Tasting Notes
Robert Parker 86
This is very ripe and a tad confected on the nose with touches of tinned strawberries and a little sawdust. The palate is ripe with succulent tannins, although this is not a complex wine with notes of cherry, pomegranate and a touch of raspberry leaf. Good definition on the slightly austere finish. Not bad although not a long-term contender. Tasted October 2007.
Vinous 86
Moderately saturated medium red. Redcurrant and tobacco on the nose. Vinous and fresh but on the lean side; where’s the beef? Not especially long on the back, but not dry either.
