Tasting Notes
Robert Parker 88
Readers will find the 1998 Chateauneuf du Pape to be a reasonably good value. It is a long, rich, fat effort with plenty of Provencal spice intermixed with cherry liqueur, pepper, and olives. Long and pure, with medium to full body, low acidity, and a succulent texture, it is a hedonistic Chateauneuf du Pape to drink over the next decade.
