From the Saiagricola Group, the 1997 Brunello di Montalcino shows a dry and astringent style with Indian spice box, tobacco, smoke bacon and crushed rose. The central aroma, however, recalls dusty oak. That’s about all you can squeeze out of it. Drink: 2014-2018. [27/02/2014]
