Meet The Winemakers

Hailed as one of the 50 wines to have changed Italian wines by Gambero Rosso, Siepi is a terroir-driven Super Tuscan with equal parts Sangiovese to Merlot producing the perfect balance between elegance, power, and complexity.

Owned by the Mazzei since 1435, the Siepi vineyards are located 5km south of Castellina in the heart of the Chianti Classico. Farmed organically, the vines planted were the result of decades of research into the best clones suited to the soils and in the cellar the team have moved away from an overly oaked style to a more elegant, fruit-driven wine that’s capable of long ageing.

Siepi is produced in limited quantities.
